The Boston Museum of Science has a large collection of science-based exhibits. Some are permanent, some are just temporary. Besides the main museum, there is even a Children's Discover Center which offers a secure, enclosed play area for kids. In a natural environment with tunnels and puzzles, kids can learn more about animals from nature. Apart from that, you can explore Chick Hatching Station, Mugar Omni Theater, Charles Hayden Planetarium and more at the Boston Museum of Science.

Boston Museum of Science is easy to reach either by public transportation or self-driving. You can take the MBTA's Green Line subway to Science Park station. If you decide to drive by yourself, there are plenty of parking spaces available there.
The Museum's on-site garage: There is an on-site parking garage of the museum. The operating hour of the garage is 5:30 a.m. - 11:00 p.m. from Sunday to Thursday and 5:30 a.m. - 12:00 a.m. from Friday to Saturday. It's free to park for less than 30 minutes. The parking fee for 1/2 hour to 1 hour is $6.25. The price will increase by $2 per hour. Daily maximum is $18.25. Flat rate of evening parking is $7. You can also apply to be basic members or premier members.
Though the garage provides approximately 850 parking spaces, it may fill to capacity on weekends and vacation periods. They observe a first-come, first-served rule. So you are suggested to arrive early. As the museum is located in downtown Boston, it might be a little bit difficult to exit the garage due to city traffic. There is an elevator in the garage which can lead you to the museum.
Other nearby parking options: The museum garage may fill to capacity on busy days. Other nearby options like CambridgeSide Galleria and TD Garden are available.
CambridgeSide Galleria provides an upper and a lower garage which are easily accessible. There are three entrances of the lower garage, respectively are CambridgeSide Place, Land Boulevard and First Street. The only entrance of the upper garage is on First Street. MBTA Garage is located right underneath the TD Garden with 1150 parking spaces. You can enter the garage on Nashua Street. For more information you can call 617-222-3042.

Bus Parking: Buses can not be parked on museum grounds except for drop-off and pickup. Buses can park at the Moran Terminal in Charlestown. It can accommodate to around 50 motor coaches and buses each day. Services there including 24 hour security, fuel facility, rest area and driver's dormitory. Parking rate for bus is $10. Admission Prices: The individual tickets of the museum various from $18 to $21. Tickets for children and seniors are cheaper. If you want to visit Omni or Planetarium, an extra $9 will be paid. Group tickets are also available. Detailed info can be found on the following link:
