Museum of Science

The Museum of Science Boston always has something new in store for your Boston area travel. You can visit the museum every weekend and still be entertained with their daily presentations, interactive exhibits, planetarium, IMAX and 3D Digital Shows.

This museum is perfect for everyone. Unlike other museums, here you can really experience the exhibits. It's a hand-on museum and because it's interactive, many kids love it here! You can touch the frog and play with them or enjoy the simulator experience.

For just $5 per person you can be entertained by their simulator film that runs for about 5 minutes! Here you can be an astronaut, a deep sea diver or just about anything! Check out their featured films.

If you tried one, come back after 30 minutes and they'll have a new featured film for you to try. At just $5 per person it is not expensive to try out all their featured films!

The Museum of Science Boston is proud of its IMAX Dome screen. It is the only Dome IMAX in New England and in this theater you can really feel the immersion effect. It is definitely worth a try! You'll be in awe with their selection of Omni films.

Don't you just love stargazing? When you look up in the sky on a cloudless night, don't you just feel so blessed that in all of those stars and planets, there is only one Earth where you and I both share? At the Planetarium, you'll see stars. No, not after a bump in the head but in here you'll get to experience the outer space as if you are really there.

You'll learn about the constellations and other planets from the Planetarium staffs as well. The Museum of Science Boston Planetarium is open daily. At night, the dome is taken over by their laser technology. Watch their evening light shows with great music. Just make sure you are not light sensitive.

A museum is not a museum if you won't leave without learning something new. Here they offer free live presentations so you'll learn something about the planet, the animals and the conservation of the planet in general.

There is no other place in Boston that can equal the fun and excitement and educational benefits of going to the Museum of Science Boston. There's just so much going on here every day that you simply won't ever get bored! Come here, bring your kids and show them that learning can be so much fun! It's a great way to spend your time for Boston traveling with your family.
