Reaching the Museum of Science by public transportation can be made through several modes.
Take MBTA's Green Line to the museum - You can stop at the Science Park station. And if you need to transfer to the Green Line, you can take the Orange Line to Haymarket /North Station, the Blue Line to Government Center or the Red Line to Park Street.
Walk to the Museum of Science - If you would like to walk a while to get to the museum, you can take the Green/Orange Line to North Station. Follow Nashua Street and turn right at O'Brien Highway. You can also take Red Line to Charles/MGH Station. Or, take Orange Line to Bunker Hill Community College Station.
Get to the museum from Logan Airport - There are shuttle buses from the airport terminals to the Back Bay Station (Blue Line Stop). And the Silver Line also operates from terminals to South Station.

When you come from the south - You can take Route 3 North to Interstate 93 North to Boston. Or, the Interstate 95 North will take you to Interstate 93. You will then stay left for Leverett Circle/28N. The museum will be on your left.
When you come from the north - You can go through Interstate 93 South. Exit 26 and follow signs for Leverett Circle/28N. Or, you can exit 46 and follow Route 1 South over the Tobin Bridge. Get to Storrow Dr/North Station and then Leverett Circle/28N.
When you come from the west - Take Mass Pike Interstate 90 East to Interstate 93 North, and exit 26 to turn left onto Leverett Circle/28N. For cars only, you can take Memorial Drive or Storrow Drive.

General driving tips: As the Museum of Science is located near the downtown area, the city traffic may cause backup and the parking space can be limited. You have to arrive early (usually before 10:30 a.m.) or late (after 3:00 p.m.) on busy days. Their garage opens at 5:30 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. (Sunday - Thursday) and 12:00 a.m. (Friday - Saturday).
