What is the Battle of Bunker Hill Monument
There is no point of traveling to the Charlestown, Massachusetts and failing to visit the Battle of Bunker Hill monument which since erection back in 1827 has attracted tourists. It's the only one of its kind in the whole of the united State and commemorates the Battle of the Bunker Hill which likewise was the first full blown conflict between British and Patriot forces back in 1775.
Besides the monument there is also the Statue of Warren together with a diorama of battle. Remember it's another of the sites along the Freedom trail and also part and parcel of the Boston National Historical Park.
