Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) is one of the premier institutions of higher study in the field of technology. The MIT can be reached by bus as well as train from the airport. If you are coming by car, parking can be a little troublesome. You can park either inside the campus or outside the campus. The activities at the campus are controlled by the Campus Activities Complex or the CAC. It also controls the Students' Center. Tours are organized everyday. You can avail of the self guided tours and explore the campus. The Campus Information Center will help you in this. Watch master pieces at the public art collection inside the campus. Visit the List Visual Arts Center which describes the contribution of arts in the media in the present times. Do not miss the MIT Museum which displays an assortment of holography, robots, photography exhibits. The Hart Nautical Gallery and Compton Gallery must also be visited.

You can also witness live performances during the various events held at the campus and take part in ballroom dancing and other cultural programs arranged by Society for Creative Anachronisms and 60 language and cultural clubs.
